About Connell and Hart

We are Paul Connell and Diane Hart and  have been working with glass since graduating from Sunderland Polytechnic 19 years ago. All of our work is kiln fired and is made from grains of coloured and clear glass, using methods which we have developed ourselves, mostly based upon an interpretation of an old process known as Pâte de Verre.

As well as making several different ranges of jewellery we also make interior items such as clocks, mirrors and panels as well as our extremely popular Crystal Imprints which are impressions of hands, feet or paws cast in glass.

We have a gallery in Corbridge, in Gresham House, Watling Street where we sell our own work and a selection of jewellery, glassware and other crafts by leading U.K. makers' as well as taking impressions for our Crystal Imprints. Please visit our gallery or the news pages for further details.

Occasionally we attend craft fairs and country shows where it is possible to have an impression taken for a Crystal Imprint or to buy our other products, venues and dates can be found on the news page.

We also happy to work to commission.

All of our designs and work are protected by the ACID and COPY WATCH design protection schemes.
